NCAWA Schedule

Today is the deadline for The Top 50 Wrestlers to submit their shirt sizes (please indicate youth or adult) to Ed Duncan.

Failure to do so will mean you will forfeit the opportunity to get a correctly sized shirt.

Please submit your size requirements via email to ad@ncwrestling.org.

We will see you on September 11th at the annual meeting for award presentation.

NCWA North Carolina Assistant Coach of the Year and Head Coach of the Copperheads Chris Vondruska will host a free clinic on 2 September 2010. The clinic will take place at the Union Pines High School wrestling room from 6-7pm.

Preregistration is not required but a courtesy email (coachchris@copperheads.rhinowrestling.org) is appreciated. The clinic targets all school aged wrestlers, regardless of experience level. The Copperheads kick off their Fall session on 9 September. For more information visit the Copperheads Web Site.

All current members of NCUSAW/NCAWA are invited to our annual members' meeting on September 11, 2010. The meeting will be held at Forsyth Country Day School, 5501 Shallowford Rd Winston-Salem NC 27023. Exact times and agenda will be published soon. The annual meeting is your chance to have your voice heard through the various councils as well as vote for new board members.

The registration deadline for the Greco Roman and Freestyle State Championships is 6 May at 11pm EST! The deadline for the Pinning Down Autism Tournament is 7 May at 11pm EST!

Sunday, May 9

7:30-8:30am- Weigh-ins for PDA Tournament (If you are coming
from out of state and are wrestling in your home state on Friday or
Saturday, as long as your tournament results are publicly published
(e.g. trackwrestling) we will count your weigh in.)
10:00am-conclusion Pinning Down Autism Charity Event
12:00-12:30- Check-in for NC Dual Team Wrestle Offs. Any
wrestler who does not compete in State Championships must
weigh-in at this time.
1:30-conclusion- NC Dual Team Wrestle Offs.
