"Time to start getting prepared for the 2010 NCUSAW spring wrestling season. As soon as it is available, I'll be sending you a schedule of spring tournaments. I'll be asking M1s and M2s to start thinking about the tournaments they want to be assigned to and everyone else to plan to attend as many tournaments as possible - as an official and as a competitor if you are still actively wrestling.
Information about renewing your membership has been posted on the USWOA web site since last fall. However, if you have not already done so you should now follow the steps outlined below to renew your USWOA membership for 2010.
Follow up:
A credit card is required to renew your membership on line and to complete the background check. If you have just turned 18 you will be required to submit to and pay for a background check every two years.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ON LINE USWOA REGISTRATION and MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL
If you were a member in 2008 or 2009, do not create a new record. Your profile will already be in the USA Wrestling membership site. Click on the "here if you forgot your password" and it will be emailed to you in a matter of minutes. If your email has changed, contact the office at uswoaoffice@verizon.net.
New and renewal USWOA 2010 memberships can be obtained at: www.usawmembership.com
All members 18 and over must have a background check. If you completed and paid for a background check in 2009, it will be good for 2010.
Once you have paid for your membership renewal it will say click "here" to begin your BackGround check. If you do not see that, go to your profile and choose BackGround check history (red at the top) and it will have a "click on here if you want to begin your BG check". It will link you to TC LogiQ. You will need to read the screens. There are 11 screens to view for what you will be filling in. Continue to click "NEXT" at the bottom until you no longer can. Disregard anything in the upper half of the screen that looks like a link until you have clicked the final "NEXT" button at the bottom of the screen. Create a NEW ACCOUNT, as you do not already have an account with TC LogiQ. Washington officials may already have an account with TCLogiQ and will need to complete a new background check for 2010. Other officials may already be cleared for 2009 and 2010.
You will be mailed your stamp and control card when you have been cleared. USWOA office does not have anything to do with your background check. If you have questions regarding any delay in receiving your clearance, please contact Tony Black at USAW: TBlack@USAWrestling.org.
Call De Heyman, USWOA Administrative Assistant office 813-655-4136 or email uswoaoffice@verizon.net if you have any questions or problems.
